The former 'Hung' star is reportedly being intubated in a hospital after she was 'severely burned' following the terrifying incident that took place in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - A new video gives insight into the terrifying car accident involving Anne Heche. In the footage, it could be seen the former star of "Hung" driving at high speed before she crashed into a home.

The clip which was obtained by TMZ showed the 53-year-old actress speeding down a residential street in the Mar Vista area in Los Angeles on Friday, August 5 at around 10:55 A.M. Her blue Mini Cooper could be seen flying down the street while making a tearing sound before crashing into a home.

Residents of the apartment complex reportedly tried to get Anne out of her car but she put it in reverse and then sped off. Not long after that, she crashed into another home. The crash started a fire that engulfed the building.

"The vehicle was heading east on Preston Way at a high rate of speed, entered the T intersection at Preston Way and Walgrove Ave, ran off the road and collided with the residence in the 1700 block of Walgrove," a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said in a statement. "The vehicle became engulfed in flames and the driver was transported to a local hospital by LAFD," police went on explaining.

Firefighters used cables from a massive tow truck to pull the car out of the burning home. Team leader Mandel, a veteran of many such incidents, said while evacuating Anne, "If there's somebody alive in there this is going to be a miracle."

Los Angeles Police Public Information Officer Jeff Lee stated that Anne was in critical condition. It's also reported that the actress, who came to recognition portraying Vicky Hudson and Marley Love in the soap opera "Another World", is now being intubated.

It looks like Anne was under the influence of alcohol. One photo taken before the accident showed that there was a bottle with a red cap in the car's cup holder. However, doctors are unable to perform alcohol blood testing with her current condition.
