On Sunday, July 24, the pro basketballer posted on his Instagram Story a cryptic quote about owing nothing and "responsibility." The message read, "1. Nothing is promised to you. 2. No one owes you anything. 3. You have all the responsibility in your life." It continued, "Understand these three rules as early as possible and realize that independence is the way forward."
Around the same time, Khloe took to her own Story to share a cryptic message about gratitude. "Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire...If you did, what would there be to look forward to," she shared. "Be thankful when you don't know something...For it gives you the opportunity to learn."
She continued, "Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow. Be thankful for your limitations. Because they give you opportunities for improvement." The 38-year-old added, "Be thankful for each new challenge because it will build your strength and character."
The message didn't stop there as she shared, "Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons. Be thankful when you're tired and weary because it means you've made a difference."
"It is easy to be thankful for the good things. A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks," Khloe wrote, before concluding, "Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles and they can become your blessings."
Some fans have speculated that Khloe might be hinting at the arrival of her second child via surrogate with the word "blessings." Neither "The Kardashians" star nor Tristan has announced if they have welcomed their baby No. 2.
