AceShowbiz - Chris Rock apparently had darker days before his relationship with Lake Bell. Months before he was spotted out and about with the "No Escape" actress, the former "Saturday Night Live" star joked about being "lonely" in his 50s.
In the Thursday, July 21 episode of Kevin Hart's Peacock series "Hart to Heart", which was recorded in January, the 57-year-old comedian opened up about his loneliness and whether he ever wanted to remarry. "Both my kids are in college. I have nothing to do," he cracked. "My mom is good, I got no woman. I'm like, whatever."
"You're a 56-year-old bachelor now," Hart then told his guest during the episode. "Let's not go there," Rock replied and laughed. The stand-up comedian went on to add, "I'm by myself. I'm a lonely man!"
Rock, who previously tied the knot with Malaak Compton Rock before going separate ways after nearly two decades together, was then asked whether he's "looking to go down the world of marriage again." In response, he said, "I think I'm good," before joking, "At some point, I'll have a woman and whatever, and hopefully she'll be with me for a while, and one day I won't be able to make it up the steps and I'll put her in my will. 'I can't get up the stairs -- somebody get me my will! I gotta put Angie in my will.' "
Rock and Bell first sparked dating rumors in June, when they were spotted together for the first time at a St. Louis Cardinals game. They continued to fuel the romance rumors over the 4th of July weekend when they were photographed having a fancy dinner at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, California. One day later, the couple was again spotted in Santa Monica.
As for now, Rock and Bell are enjoying their summer holiday in Croatia. On July 17, the pair were photographed holding hands while walking through the city of Dubrovnik. The "No Strings Attached" actress even put her arm around the funnyman while talking on the phone in the middle of the plaza. Later that day, the twosome took a romantic boat ride.
Then on July 20, Rock was spotted cozying up to bikini-clad Bell on a luxury yacht. They were joined by their pals, including Sacha Baron Cohen, Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson and his wife Laura Louie, David Spade, Lars Ulrich and wife Jessica Miller as well as P. Diddy.
Of their budding relationship, a source spilled to PEOPLE that they "have been seeing each other for a few weeks." The so-called insider added, "They are getting to know each other and seem to have fun."
