AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are apparently having a small celebration in the city of love following their surprise wedding. The couple has jetted off to Paris, France days after they tied the knot in Las Vegas.
On Thursday, July 21, the pair were photographed holding hands while arriving at Le Matignon Restaurant, near the Champs-Elysees, much to fellow dinner guests' surprise. They were reportedly asking for a table on the outside terrace.
"They just showed up," one surprised eyewitness tells PEOPLE. "He looked like a typical American except he had on a jacket and tie in this heat."
During the outing, J.Lo looked radiant in a gorgeous red dress with a v-neck cut. The long gown featured a pleated skirt and key hole back with short sleeves. Her long hair was styled in a loose updo with face-framing layers. Meanwhile, Ben donned a white shirt and a tan-colored tie underneath a navy suit.
They were not alone during the dinner as they were joined by their kids. In a video posted by French outlet Radio Tongosa, J.Lo's daughter Emme, 14, appeared briefly in the back seat of a car, next to Ben's daughter Violet, 16, who wore a face mask, and Seraphina, 13. It's unclear if Emme's twin brother Max and Ben's son Samuel, 10, were present.
The couple reportedly stayed approximately two hours at the upscale restaurant and dance club before heading back to their hotel. "They were with their children at the Matignon restaurant in Paris, they stayed in the restaurant for around two hours and thirty minutes on the terrace," another source tells HollywoodLife. "There were 4 bodyguards and 3 vehicles."
J.Lo and Ben arrived at Le Bourget airport by private plane just hours earlier before the dinner. In pictures taken before their dinner, the newlyweds opted for more casual looks with the "Marry Me" star rocking a simple white T-shirt with jeans and a fedora, while the "Triple Frontier" actor donning a blue button-up shirt and matching dress pants.
J.Lo and Ben tied the knot in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 16. Breaking the exciting news in her On the JLo newsletter, the multihyphenate wrote, "We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient," while sharing photos from their wedding.
The pair reportedly plan to follow up their low-key nuptials with a bigger, second wedding at Ben's home in Georgia.
