The 'Top Gun: Maverick' star and the Serbian model/actress tied the knot at Villa Mangiacane in Tuscany, Italy after five years of dating and two-and-a-half years of engagement.

AceShowbiz - Jay Ellis is officially off the market now. The "Insecure" actor has finally married his fiancee and the mother of his child, Nina Senicar, after two years of postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jay and Nina tied the knot on Saturday, July 9 in a ceremony at a villa in Tuscany, Italy surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, according to Vogue. Confirming the news, the newly-weds shared an identical picture from their wedding day on their respective Instagram page with a caption that read, "July 9th, 2022… Per sempre."
"We always knew we wanted to get married in Italy because going there was the first trip we ever took together," Nina told the magazine about the wedding location that holds a special place in their heart. Following their engagement in January 2019, the two went to Italy to look for a wedding location in June of 2019, road-tripping for a week from Rome to Tuscany to Puglia and looking at about 15 venues and villas along the way.
They eventually settled on Villa Mangiacane, a property surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in a small town called San Casciano in Tuscany. However, their initial plan to wed on July that year had to be postponed and they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Nora Grace, in November 2019.
They then set July 2021 as their new wedding date, but that had to change again. "As the world slowly started to open up in 2021, we had a family loss that caused us to be away from home for about eight or nine months which resulted in our having to change our plans again," Nina shared. "And we finally landed on July 9, 2022."
For their wedding day, Jay wore a custom dark red Dolce & Gabbana tux paired with velvet red shoes. The bride, meanwhile, stunned in a custom Dolce & Gabbana off-white, silk gown with a high slit, teamed with a pair of lace heels. The Serbian actress/model also wore a pair of diamond earrings from her best friend and a ring from her late grandmother, telling the outlet, "It was like having her with me."
Of their three-day celebrations, Nina said, "We just really wanted everybody to have a good time and get to know each other. And most importantly, dance. We come from two completely different sides of the world, different cultures, and backgrounds, and it was magical to see how all of that got mixed together in such a beautiful and spontaneous way with the people we love the most."
As for what's next, Jay said he's looking forward to getting plenty of rest. "I just feel like we need a vacation after throwing the craziest three-day party ever," he said, "But it was amazing. After everything that everyone has been through over the last few years to bring over 190 people together for three days in Tuscany and celebrate was surreal."
