During a brief interview, the comedian indicates that he opts to focus on the positives in his life and dodges a question about Mo'Nique following a contract dispute.

AceShowbiz - D.L. Hughley and Mo'Nique may have stopped exchanging insults online, but that doesn't mean their feud has subsided. During a brief interview with TMZ, Hughley indicated that he opted to focus on the positives in his life and dodged a question about Mo'Nique.

When a cameraman tried to rehash Mo's apology, Hughley said, "I don't even know who you're talking about." He went on telling the paparazzo, "Listen, I don't even know who you're talking about. That-you only get so many breaths in your life and I refuse to use one more on somebody like that."

"I haven't heard anything. I don't listen to that," the legendary comedian added. "I work, my family's intact, I just came from doing-we just came from doing a benefit for the people that were affected by the tragedy in Buffalo."

He added, "I get to go home and see my granddaughter. I have no words or breath left for somebody like that." The cameraperson slid in another question and said, "Never work with her again?" In response to the question, Hughley kept on pretending that he doesn't know Mo'Nique's existence, saying, "I don't even know who it is."

Hughley and Mo'Nique's feud started after the latter called him out over alleged contract dispute. Mo claimed that she, instead of D.L., was booked as a headliner for a show in Detroit back in May. During her set at the Comedy Explosion, she slammed Hughley, "That's what the motherf**king contract says… Mo'Nique is to be the last motherf**king person on the got damn stage. She is the headliner. That's what I signed the contract for."

In response to that, Hughley wrote on Instagram that Mo'Nique was "the problem." In a Sunday, May 29 post along with a picture of the Oscar-winning actress, he wrote, "All you have to do is check the order of names on the ticket stub from last night and you'll see who's confused. Against my better judgment, over the objections of my team and 4 other occasions where I said NO, I decided to take a chance and work with Monique."
