Normani Under Fire for Starring in Chris Brown's 'WE (Warm Embrace)' Music Video

Many people on Twitter wonder why the former Fifth Harmony member would put her career in jeopardy by collaborating with the RnB crooner, given his bad reputation towards women.

AceShowbiz - Working with Chris Brown has put Normani Kordei under fire. Having starred as Chris' love interest in "WE Warm Embrace)" visuals, the former Fifth Harmony member found herself being the target of online attacks, given his reputation towards women.

"Who told Normani that it was a good idea to be a video star for Chris Brown? Yikes. They are determined to destroy her career before it even begins," one person in particular argued on Twitter. "Why does Normani keep thinking she's doing something by working with Chris Brown? It's not the flex you think it is sis," another wondered.

"Idk why the new rnb girls feel the need to collaborate with him. first [Ella Mai, H.E.R., Chloe Bailey], now normani. It's disappointing," someone else lamented. "I can't even say it bc he has repeated his behavior toward women, kicks darkskin women out of clubs he's in and made the same song since 2012."

A different user fumed, "We're COOKED. Normany baby what's going on?? like chris brown?? CHRIS F**KING BROWN????" Other individual opined, "On some real s**t, if Normani wasn't famous would Chris Brown even let her in his section on the club? We've all heard about his paper bag test standards."

In the "WE (Warm Embrace)" music video, which arrived on Tuesday, June 21, Normani and Chris are seen cozying up to one another. It opens with Chris falling from the sky before realizing that he was dreaming. As he wakes up, Normani arrives at his place in a sexy silk white dress. The twosome later gets intimate and dances the night away.

The "No Air" crooner and "The X Factor" alum then jump into a swimming pool before sharing an underwater kiss. The clip ends with the pair getting in her car, where a light beam is cast over them and they rise up to some sort of spaceship.

Normani has yet to respond to the backlash.
