AceShowbiz - Anna Kendrick and Billy Eichner have poured cold water on swirling speculations about them being in a relationship. Taking to social media, the "Difficult People" alum and the "Pitch Perfect" actress poked fun at the rumors by jokingly coming out as a couple.
Making use of Twitter and Instagram on Saturday, June 18, the comedian shared a clickbait article that featured a photo of him and Anna as well as a picture of Rebel Wilson and her girlfriend Ramona Agruma. He simply captioned the posts by writing, "Um."
Billy, who is an openly gay man, tagged Anna in a follow-up tweet as he penned, "Hey @AnnaKendrick47 - cats out of the bag!!!" In response, the Darby of "Love Life" replied, "We can finally live our truth Billy! You've felt so pressured to seem like a gay man that you made #BrosMovie but you're free now! Our love can flourish!"
The banter continued with Billy writing, "Wait til they find out YOU'RE the top!!!" The 43-year-old funnyman then quipped, "See you at home, honey!!! [red heart emoji]."
Billy's Instagram post didn't go unnoticed by Mariah Carey. The "Without You" songstress sent out a crying-laughing emoji in the comment section, to which Billy replied, "I WILL LEAVE HER FOR YOU IMMEDIATELY JUST SAY THE WORD."
It is unclear whether Billy is seeing someone. Anna, for her part, has been rumored to be dating Bill Hader. In January, a source revealed to PEOPLE that Anna and Bill have been dating for more than a year after they starred together in the Disney+ Christmas movie "Noelle".
"Anna has been dating Bill quietly for over a year," a source told the publication. "They met years ago. She's hosted 'Saturday Night Live' and they've done a movie together, but they got together well after the movie... They are both very private people, and with the pandemic it was easy to keep it quiet. They're both hysterical so they must keep each other laughing all of the time. She's really, really happy."
