AceShowbiz - Diddy a.k.a. P. Diddy and Yung Miami continue to go back and forth about their relationship status. The two rap stars seemingly take pride in being single despite recently seemingly confirming that they're dating.

The hip-hop mogul and the Miami raptress went on Instagram Live on Friday, June 17, showing their closeness as they had a light talk. "We got people dancin' some more. You know, we need to dance. We need a good bop," Diddy said in a circulating clip.

Miami, who had her hair being done by a stylist, replied, "So, you back in your bop? The bop is back." He said that she of course knows that, before adding that she was on "Caresha Please" mode. Diddy noted that he wasn't interested in being interviewed and wanted her to speak to him like she usually does, while calling her a "friend."

"Who you talkin' to?" Miami seemingly asked for clarification. Diddy responded, "I'm talkin' to you!" After the playful exchange, Miami revealed she was preparing for her concert later in evening. The two decided it was "shot-o-clock" so they took a drink.

After Diddy asked for some music, Miami wanted his new song "Gotta Move On" featuring Bryson Tiller to be played. "We gotta take a shot for our exes," she said while raising her glass. "Yeah, shot for our exes," he echoed her statement.

"We're single as a mother**ker," Diddy then exclaimed, which was repeated by the City Girls star. "Single is free," he sang, before Miami said, "Cheers to f**king single."

Previously, Diddy sent a conflicting message about their relationship status when appearing on Miami's new podcast series "Caresha Please". "I'm single," the 52-year-old rapper first declared. "But I'm dating, I'm just taking my time with life. To be honest, just after my loss, losing [Kim Porter], losing Cassie, romantically I needed a time out. I just needed to be single and to be free."

But Miami demanded a clarification. "So what we is?" she pressed Diddy, who responded, "We date. We're dating. We go have dates, we're friends." He further dished, "We go to exotic locations. We have great times."

The Ciroc Vodka co-owner also revealed what he likes about her. "I mean cause you're authentic," he said of Miami, before further gushing about the raptress, "You're like one of the realest people I've ever met and you're authentically yourself. You're a great mother and a great friend. We just have a good time."
