AceShowbiz - Normani Kordei has sparked romance rumors with DK Metcalf following an outing together. Over the weekend, the former Fifth Harmony member was caught being joined by the NFL star for dinner.
On Sunday, June 12, the 26-year-old singer and the 24-year-old athlete were photographed having a dinner date at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California. The two reportedly arrived at the Los Angeles eatery separately but left together in the same car.
In pictures which have circulated online, Normani and DK, which is short of his birth name DeKaylin Zecharius, are seen walking close to each other, but they showed no PDA. The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant appeared to be a bit shy as she held back her smile and tried to cover her face with her hand when paparazzi took their pictures.
For the outing, Normani dressed to impress in a strapless little black dress with a huge necklace and a pair of sparkling high heels. Her hair was pulled in a simple updo and she had a black bag slung over her shoulder.
As for DK, he kept it casual in a T-shirt and jeans with a pink coat covered in NBA team logos. He also rocked a pair of white-and-gray sneakers as he led the way near the valet parking area.
Neither Normani nor DK has confirmed the status of their relationship.
The dinner date comes as DK is facing $90k fine from the Seattle Seahawks for missing the team's mandatory minicamp. According to a report by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the wide receiver was not present at the team facility for the start of Seahawks minicamp, which began earlier this month. He was reportedly in rehab from offseason foot surgery in Los Angeles, but the team didn't take any excuse.
His future in the NFL is also still up in their air as contract talks have not yet resulted in a new deal.
