The 'Uncut Gems' star takes to her Instagram Stories to respond after she raises eyebrows for stepping out to a grocery store in a black designer-underwear and bra set.

AceShowbiz - Julia Fox's head-turning fashion has taken up a notch, but she has an explanation for it. The Gotham Award-winning actress has defended her style after she stepped out in designer underwear in Hollywood.
On Sunday, May 15, the former fling of Kanye West went to a grocery store in a black bra and underwear set from Alexander Wang's upcoming Bodywear collection. She completed her look with a denim jacket which was left unbuttoned, denim knee-high boots and a denim bag. She also accessorized with black sunglasses.
In several pictures which have surfaced online, Julia confidently walked across the parking lot underneath the blazing sunlight. She kept it stylish while pushing the cart to her car, before loading the items she bought into her car trunk.
Seeing the actress' bizarre style, one person reacted on Twitter, "Oh sure, when Julia Fox goes grocery shopping in her underwear, she's a fashion icon. But when I do it, I'm 'no longer welcome in Whole Foods.' " Another also spoke against the fashion choice, "julia fox is hot and all but that is unsuitable to be going grocery shopping in."
Julia has apparently caught wind of the negative comments. She reposted an Instagram Story of her look. "When it's laundry day but you have errands to run," read a caption underneath the original post. Sharing the image on her own Story, she defended her outfit that day as writing, "I just think that if it's socially acceptable at the beach it should be the same everywhere lol."
Julia's style has changed a lot since she was in a relationship with Ye. While the Italian-American beauty was often compared to Kim Kardashian when she was heavily influenced by the rapper, she has continued wearing revealing outfits following the end of her brief relationship with the Yeezy designer.
