The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star's model daughter angers her father's superfans, who have been leaving hate comments on her social media accounts, as she stays silent amid the ongoing defamation trial.

AceShowbiz - Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's defamation trial has been one of the biggest topics on the Internet. While some people don't hesitate to share their opinion on the couple's legal battle, the actor's daughter Lily-Rose Depp stays silent about the matter. However, it doesn't sit well with her father's superfans, who have been leaving hate comments on her social media accounts.
"why aren't you helping your dad," one fan wrote in a comment underneath the model's Instagram post. Another person slammed the model as saying, "Only reason she's famous it's bc of her dad and she posts absolutely nothing about him and how amber heard is destroying his career, but she have blm on her stupid profile." A comment also read, "Please help your father !!!!"
Upon knowing the hate comments, Lily-Rose's fans were quick to defend the French-born model, whom Johnny shares with ex Vanessa Paradis. "She doesn't owe you ANYTHING and she doesn't need to do ANYTHING… stop harassing her," one fan commented after people began harassing the 22-year-old.
Someone else urged Lily-Rose to just "ignore the hate" remarks. "We know you support your dad, not everything has to be so public," the person continued, while a third chimed in, "Johnny would not want you all attacking his daughter. Leave her alone. She has done nothing to deserve yall attacking her. Be better humans!"
"If they truly supported Johnny they wouldn't harass his DAUGHTER but no they just want an excuse to be misogynistic," one social media user opined on Twitter. Another tweeted, "Lily-Rose Depp is nortiously [sic] known for keeping her private life private and people should respect that … She doesn't owe anyone anything so leave her alone."
Even though Lily-Rose has yet to publicly comment on the ongoing defamation trial between Johnny and Amber, she previously showed support for the "Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them" actor in an Instagram post. "My dad is the sweetest, most loving person I know," so Lily-Rose penned alongside a throwback picture in a 2016 post which has since been deleted. "He's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same."
The defamation trial began last month in Fairfax County, Virginia. The "Aquaman" actress took the stand earlier this month following testimony from family members, former employees and Johnny himself.
