When addressing his beef with the 'Built for This' rapper, the 37-year-old Griselda artist also explains why he refused to try to find out the cause of their dispute.

AceShowbiz - Feuding with Freddie Gibbs might be the last thing that Benny the Butcher wanted. When addressing the matter on "Drink Champs", the "Johnny P's Caddy" rapper admitted that he has been left baffled by his beef with the "Built for This" emcee.

"It really ain't nothin', you know... I don't get to, like, into, like, rap relationships," the 37-year-old Buffalo rapper said. "A lot of times it don't be real, you feel what I'm sayin'? So it's like, I guess that n***a put a tweet up or some weird s**t and I don't know why he did that s**t."

When co-host N.O.R.E. a.k.a. Noreaga replied he thought they were friends, Benny agreed, "That's what I thought." Regardless, the Griselda artist refused to try to find out the cause of their beef. He said, "I don't even care to ponder on it because this s**t will get crazy if you start letting your feelings in this s**t."

Benny and Freddie previously traded shots after the former claimed that Freddie "begged" him to do an album together. "How can u hate on a n***a u begged to do an album with…TT4 OUT NOW !!!" Benny tweeted in late March.

It didn't sit well with Freddie, who later penned on Instagram Story, "N***az whole marketing plan for their album is to beef with Freddie Gibbs. That's cute." The 39-year-old continued, "If you opened up for me before just be grateful."

"Next time just get the Drake verse cleared and u ain't gotta do all this for promo. I'm out," the emcee, born Fredrick Jamel Tipton, penned in a follow-up post. "Why would I beg a n***a to work with em when he do less than me?"

Freddie also responded to Benny's statement that read, "[Working with Freddie Gibbs] came and went to be honest with you." Addressing the remark, Freddie said in an Instagram clip, "N***as said working with Freddie Gibbs came and went," while laughing.

"I know some other s**t that came and went, too, n***a... Just keep my name out y'all mouth when you talking to people who doing interviews and s**t," he added. "Just say, 'next question, man. I don't want to talk about that n***a, man.' Just say next motherf**king question, for real."
