AceShowbiz - Christina Haack (Christina El Moussa) is unhappy with Ant Anstead's decision regarding their child. After her ex-husband filed for full custody of their 2-year-old son Hudson, the "Flip or Flop" star insisted that she's a "good mom."
"What Ant is doing deeply saddens me," the 38-year-old real estate investor said in a statement. "If this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my attorney have suggested."
"I have had my share of ups and downs but I am a good mom and I love my children with all my heart and I will always protect them," she added.
In his filing obtained by TMZ, Ant claimed Christina has only spent "9 full days each month" with their child over the last 20 months. He also accused his ex-wife of putting Hudson at medical risk, including the moment where the toddler had a "sunburn that was so bad it left him crying in pain."
Ant said he texted Christina about the matter, but her response was not satisfactory enough. She allegedly replied, "It didn't feel hot. Give him some Tylenol im [sic] sure it will be better tomorrow."
Ant and Christina, who tied the knot in December 2018, welcomed Hudson in September 2019. The pair then announced their split a year later. "Ant and I have made the difficult decision to separate. We are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority," Christina wrote at the time.
Christina, who was previously married to Tarek El Moussa, added, "We appreciate your support and ask for privacy for us and our family as we navigate the future." They finalized their divorce last June.
Following their split, Ant and Christina have been moving on to new relationships. While the "Christina on the Coast" star is now married to Austin-based realtor Joshua Hall, her ex-husband is dating actress Renee Zellweger.
