AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa is giving her fans a treat. One month before the release of "Top Gun: Maverick", the "Bad Romance" hitmaker let out a captivating promo art for the action movie's new single, "Hold My Hand".

Posting the artwork on Instagram on Wednesday, April 27, the "Shallow" hitmaker could be seen posing with her eyes closed while leaning on a combat airplane with her arms stretched out. Her outfit perfectly displayed her amazing figure as she wore a body-fitted white tanktop, black pants and a tag necklace.

In the caption, the "A Star Is Born" actress shared the story behind the song. "When I wrote this song for 'Top Gun: Maverick', I didn't even realize the multiple layers it spanned across the film's heart," she began recalling, "My own psyche, and the nature of the world we've been living in."

The Patrizia Reggiani depicter of "House of Gucci" further explained the process she went through in making the single. "I've been working on it for years, perfecting it, trying to make it ours," she spilled, "I wanted to make music into a song where we share our deep need to both be understood and try to understand each other -- a longing to be close when we feel so far away and an ability to celebrate life's heroes."

In the same caption, GaGa did not forget to relay her gratitude to lead man Tom Cruise, composer Hans Zimmer and director Joseph Kosinski. "I'm so grateful to Tom and Hans and Joe for this opportunity--and it's been a beautiful experience working with them," the 36-year-old singer expressed.

The "Rain on Me" hitmaker went on to share that the song was very dear to her heart. "Me, BloodPop, Ben Rice and everyone else who worked on it with us are so excited to share it with you. This song is a love letter to the world during and after a very hard time. I've wanted you to hear it for so long," she stated, "And I'm so excited to give it to you on May 3. 'Hold My Hand.' "

GaGa wrapped up her caption with a short teaser of the song's lyrics. "But if you decide to/ I'll ride in this life with you/ I won't let go till the end," it read.
