The 'Drip Too Hard' hitmaker is under fire after he shares on social media how proud he is to be able to take care of his mama despite getting dropped out of school.

AceShowbiz - Lil Baby may be proud of his successful effort to take care of his mama but not with everyone. The "Drip Too Hard" rapper has been criticized after he flaunted his mom's new diamond teeth, which he bought for her.

On Sunday, April 24, the "Woah" hitmaker turned to Instagram Story to show off his mama's new bling. Along with a very close-up photo of his mom showcasing some diamonds on her teeth, the 27-year-old rapper wrote, "My mama original P."

In a following Story, Lil Baby shared a clip of his mother enjoying her day in a swimming pool with her friend. Over the footage, the hip-hop star, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, penned, "Mama I got rich, look at your drop out." He also added a woman with a crown emoji.

Upon learning of Lil Baby's social media posts, many Instagram users criticized him for creating such an image that children should be able to financially support their parents. "It's honorable but WE are supposed to leave an inheritance to our children's children," one person commented after the Stories were reposted by a celebrity gossip account, The Neighborhood Talk.

"The problem with that in our community is that people are not 'generational wealth mindset' and so the curse of poverty continues to perpetuate our community through a lack of knowledge," a separate critic wrote. "It's not our kids' responsibility to financially support us (parents)."

Others, in the meantime, slammed Lil Baby for sharing that though he was dropped out of school, he still makes millions. "He said that like it's something to be proud of. You still need an education," one person opined. Another agreed, "Not look at your dropout [crying face emojis] somewhat of a weird flex."

"Lmao not everyone gets lucky like you. Please stay in school. Try to finish high school cause if it was as easy everyone would be lucked out," someone else penned. "Stay in school focus on what u do best and find what works for u. Half of these celebrities are illiterate and didn't even believe in themselves at first."
