AceShowbiz - Darren Criss is officially a father now. The Blaine Anderson depicter on "Glee" has unveiled the unique moniker of his first child after welcoming the newborn baby with his wife Mia Swier.
Making use of social media on Thursday, April 14, the actor portraying Andrew Cunanan on "American Crime Story" introduced his baby daughter to the world. "M & D made some sweet music," he wrote before revealing the child's name, "Bluesy Belle Criss." He also added the date of her birth, "4/11/22," and concluded, "Out now," along with a couple of blue heart emojis.
In his post, Darren included a photo that saw the happy couple sitting next to each other on a hospital bed, adoringly looking down at their newborn baby as they held her in their arms. Baby Bluesy was swaddled in a pink-and-blue blanket and had a big pink bow on her head.
Many of his famous pals sent congratulatory messages in the comment section of his post. January Jones wrote, "Aw precious!! Congratulations!" while Heather Morris said, "Congrats beautiful family [face with heart eyes emoji]." Vanessa Hudgens simply commented, "Omg congratulations.
Dylan McDermott, in the meantime, penned, "Congratulations!" Jesse Tyler Ferguson added, "Congrats my friend!" Adam Lambert also left a bunch of red heart emojis to congratulate the first-time parents with Jane Lynch saying, "Welcome sweet sweet girl!!!"
The proud dad first revealed he and his wife were expecting a baby in October with an on-theme video showing the pair listening to the sounds of their unborn child's heartbeat in a recording studio. "We've been making music for years," Criss captioned the clip. "… But this time we made a BEAT. The ultimate collab droppin Spring 2022."
Darren and Mia exchanged their vows in February 2019 in New Orleans in front of family, friends and several of the groom's former "Glee" co-stars, including Lea Michele, Harry Shum Jr. and Chord Overstreet. They tied the knot after dating for almost a decade.
