The 39-year-old and the WWE star got married on Saturday, April 9 at the Kempa Villa in Palm Desert, California. Two weeks before the big day, the couple detailed their "very non-traditional" nuptials to PEOPLE.

Ryan explained, "It's very us... The whole thing's meant to bring out our personalities, and we are far from just normal." One of the example is they welcomed 360 guests with a greeting sign that read, "Welcome to the s**t show."

The pair also told the guests that the dress code was, "What would Harry Styles do?" The musician went on to note, "And that goes for male, female ... what would Harry Styles wear?" His now-wife then chimed in, "One of my cousins is wearing a Pac-Man suit... It's going to be ridiculous."

On Sunday, Alexa turned to Instagram to give fans a look at her dress and Ryan's suit for their wedding. In the accompaniment of the post, the bride simply gushed, "We did it! @ryancabrera."

Alexa and Ryan got engaged in November 2020 after dating for a year. "Tonight was the best night of my life!!!" Ryan captioned an Instagram Story photo of his proposal. "And it's just the beginning!!!" Alexa shared the same snap on her Instagram account, adding, "One year ago we said hello, tonight I said YES @ryancabrera."

Posting a video from the special moment on his Instagram feed, Ryan raved, "I am the luckiest man in the world, I'm going to marry the kindest, sweetest, funniest, most thoughtful, brilliant woman I have ever met in my life!!!" He added, "The only other woman I know that has the exact same qualities as my mother who is perfect in my eyes!!"

"The best day I've ever had in my 38 years on this planet to date ...I love you always and forever Lex!!!" the Dallas crooner further stated. "People will always have their opinions, but LOVE will always conquer, and that's how I choose to live my life."
