The 'Next to Me' singer gets candid about her love relationship in a new interview as she admits that she falls in love with a female classical pianist, whom she refuses to name.

AceShowbiz - Emeli Sande is happily in love with a woman. The British singer/songwriter has revealed in a new interview that she is currently in a same-sex relationship, subtly coming out as bisexual in the process.
The 35-year-old, whose new album "Let's Say For Instance" is due out on May 6, opened up about her love relationship when talking to Metro. She announced that she is currently dating a female classical pianist, whom she refuses to name.
Emeli said she met her girlfriend when she was learning about classical music and now feels like "she's the one for life." She shared, "We met through music," before gushing, "And I definitely feel happier than ever. It feels great."
"For me, true love and having love in your life makes everything fit into place," she added of her new relationship. When asked if this means she's bisexual, she responded, "I'm not sure what I identify as but I guess so. I just feel like I should fall in love with whoever I fall in love with."
She also divulged what this relationship means to her. "If you don't really have someone to share it with or someone supporting you behind the scenes, it's very difficult. So now I feel very fulfilled," she said. "I'll always love music and I love my career but now it just feels that despite what happens, I can just enjoy life and be really happy."
Emeli's confession about her same-sex relationship arrives nearly eight years after her divorce. The "Next to Me" songstress, who initially also kept the identity of her boyfriend a secret, was engaged to her longterm boyfriend in 2012 after seven years of dating.
It was later revealed that her fiance was marine biologist Adam Gouraguine when the pair married in his home nation of Montenegro on September 15, 2012. However, only two years later, in November 2014, she revealed that they had divorced.
Following their split, Emeli admitted that she was suffering a "breakdown," calling him her "best friend" whom she had lost. "But there was just something inside me that said, 'This isn't the life. You're pretending to be someone else,' " she explained why her marriage came to an end. She added, "I don't want to call it a breakdown, but it felt like that."
