AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Da Brat and Jesseca Dupart. The couple made use of their Instagram accounts to announce that they are "extending the family."
Through Dupart's page, they shared a picture of Brat snuggling up behind her soon-to-be spouse with her arms around her stomach. "We are EXTENDING the family," so the caption read.
"yeeeaaahhh i'm pullin uppp!!!!!" a follower commented underneath the happy post. Another user added, "Omggggg CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm so happy for you both."
The exciting news arrived weeks before they are set to get married on February 22. While the baby will be Brat's first child, Dupart has three kids from past relationships.
The couple has yet to reveal the sex of their unborn baby, but Brat previously opened up on what she'd want her child's name to be if she were to have a daughter.
"My child will have all of my names, honey," the musician said on Dish Nation. "Her name would be Legacy Shawntae Dupart. Shawntae is my first name and Dupart is my baby's last name. Yes honey, carry on the legacy of your parents darling."
Brat isn't the only celebrity who was revealed to be expecting this week. Rihanna made headlines after she was snapped sporting her baby bump as she's expecting her first child with A$AP Rocky.
Many fellow celebrities sent congratulatory messages to the couple. "happy for you mama,” Nicki wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. "Conquered the world already. Given so much. Nothing left to prove. you deserve your own little gift now. Different level of joy that money can't buy."
