One in particular taking issue with the teen turning the late basketball legend's jersey into a dress is former NBA star Kwame Brown, who slams Dwyane for 'letting your woman control your house.'

AceShowbiz - Dwyane Wade has been blamed for Zaya Wade's allegedly "disrespectful" tribute to Kobe Bryant. After the teen posted a picture of her wearing a custom dress made of the late basketball star's Lakers jersey, Kwame Brown ripped Dwyane for "letting your woman control your house."

On his YouTube show "Bust Life" on Thursday, January 27, Kwame slammed Dwyane as he believed that Zaya's tribute to Kobe was inappropriate. He said the ex-Miami Heat star doesn't "level up as a man."

"You are letting your woman control your house," Kwame accused the 40-year-old retired basketballer. "I'm not saying there's anything against homosexuals, but [Kobe] is a heterosexual man. Why is he being honored by making his jersey into a dress? Wear his goddamn jersey for the day to honor him without the dress part."

Insisting that it's not the right way to honor Kobe, the former Philadelphia 76ers added, "Let's please not show our black brother in this light. This is no offense to nobody else. This man was a heterosexual man with a wife and a family. There's no reason for this to be tied to Kobe Bryant. None whatsoever."

Kwame wasn't the only one taking issue with Zaya's tribute to Kobe. "You are a disgusting individual and a very disrespectful one at that. One thing for sure, you a terrible parent. And how you turned your kid into an abomination is sick," one Twitter user said. Another commented, "Dwayne Wade, like Magic Johnson before him sold out his child who is transgender. More athletes selling their souls and their childrens souls for fame!!"

"Dwayne Wade letting his young son pay tribute to Kobe Bryant by wearing a jersey dress is disgusting, disrespectful and out of line, wasn't nothing feminine or gay about Kobe, he was a father, husband and a man's man, D-wade you wack as hell for that," another transphobic user tweeted.

Zaya took to her Instagram page on Wednesday to honor Kobe and his late daughter Gianna on the second anniversary of their deaths. The 14-year-old posted a picture of her wearing Kobe's No. 8 jersey which was turned into a dress. In the caption, she wrote, "always remembering and honoring Kobe and Gianna."
