The '13 Going on 30' actress and her kids apparently have given her ex-husband a stamp of approval to ask the 'On the Floor' hitmaker to marry him for the second time.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner seemingly has given Ben Affleck a stamp of approval to ask Jennifer Lopez to marry him for the second time. If a new report is to be believed, the "13 Going on 30" actress believes that her ex-husband's "imminent" engagement to the "On the Floor" hitmaker is "a good idea."

"Their kids are all on board," the insider spilled to In Touch on Tuesday, January 25, referring to the "Elektra" star and the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor's kids as well as the "Let's Get Loud" hitmaker's children. The so-called inside source added, "Even Jen Garner thinks it's a good idea."

The source went on to note that Ben and J.Lo's engagement "is just a matter of time." The informant pointed out, "There's no question that Jen and Ben will be engaged," noting that the "Justice League" star has "told pretty much everyone that he lost [J.Lo] once before, and he's not going to let that happen again."

"It's meant to be, and if you see them together, there's no doubt about it," the insider continued. The source then spilled that Ben wanted to propose on J.Lo's birthday in July "but some say Ben feels that's too far away."

The inside source shared, "He'll probably do it in early spring when they have plans to go away." Ahead of their new relationship milestone, it's reported that Ben and J.Lo "are ready, they're excited and they know in their hearts that getting married is the right thing."

"It took a while for Jen and Ben to find each other again," the insider said. "There were many naysayers. They thought there was no way this second chance at love would work, but it has. A proposal is imminent. Followed by a fabulous wedding, probably this summer. This is the real deal."

Last August, Ben was caught browsing engagement rings at the Century City, California Tiffany's. At the time, the "Gone Girl" actor was accompanied by his mom Sam and son Samuel.

The 49-year-old actor and director first popped the question to the "Hustlers" star in November 2002. He presented the "Let's Get Love" hitmaker with a 6.1-carat pink diamond by Harry Winston that reportedly cost $2.5 million.

The pair, however, decided to postpone their 2003 wedding due to "excessive media attention." The couple explained at the time, "When we found ourselves seriously contemplating hiring three separate 'decoy brides' at three different locations, we realized that something was awry." They eventually called it quits in 2004.
