AceShowbiz - Britney Spears is apparently choosing peace and moving on. Taking to her social media account, the "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker unveiled her hair transformation after her fiance Sam Asghari reportedly helped her "move on" from her feud with Jamie Lynn Spears.
Making use of her Instagram account on Thursday, January 20, the 40-year-old pop star revealed her newly colored locks. In the video she shared, she could be seen showing her new purple hair.
Britney captioned the clip, which featured Cyndi Lauper's song "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", "Here's me with purple hair," adding several shrugging emojis. "I'm bored, ok ???" the singer explained, amid her public feud with sister Jamie Lynn. "Very bored so my nail girl said do it !!!!"
As for her verdict on the hairstyle, Britney admitted, "Girl .. I did it but not sure I like it but hey." She concluded her caption as saying, "Here's me in a 100 dollar mini dress with my boots," along with a dress and red boots emoji.
Britney seemed to have fun after reports claimed that her fiance is trying to "keep things positive." A source told PEOPLE, "There is just so much hate towards her family. All she wanted was to move on from the conservatorship and be happy."
"But Britney is still very hurt. Jamie Lynn's book has been a huge trigger for her," the insider added. "Sam likes to keep things positive. He is trying his best to distract her from all the drama. He is trying to help her move on from all the hate."
On Wednesday, Britney and Sam enjoyed their date night at Soho House in Los Angeles. "Britney arrived with Sam and two bodyguards," an eyewitness spilled to E! News. "Britney wore her sunglasses the entire time she walked through Soho House until they sat down at their table for dinner."
"She looked like she wanted to be under the radar and her guards did a great job of blocking her from being seen," the source continued, noting that Britney "looked very relieved and happy." The informant added, "It seemed like she was very excited to be out and was smiling a lot. Britney looked really happy with Sam and he was making her laugh a lot. You could tell he was making sure she was comfortable and having a good time."
The couple ordered a bunch of food including French fries and pizza. Before leaving the eatery, the duo posed for a picture in which Britney showed off her red boots. Britney posted the photo on her Instagram page, captioning it, "LOVE [pink heart emoji]." Sam, who also uploaded the snap on his own feed, wrote underneath the picture, "The world is ours baby," adding a lion emoji.
