The 40-year-old former spouse of the '…Baby One More Time' singer is charged with a violation of order of protection and aggravated stalking after arrested twice before in 2021.

AceShowbiz - Jason Alexander was probably singing "Oops!... I Did It Again" in his jail cell. The ex-husband of Britney Spears has once again been put behind bars after he was arrested in late 2021 for stalking.

The 40-year-old was busted on December 30 in Franklin, Tennessee for violating of an order of protection and aggravated stalking. He was held in the Williamson County jail, but has been released after posting a $30,000 bond on Tuesday, January 4.

A court hearing is scheduled for February 17, a spokesperson for the Franklin Police Department has confirmed. Officials did not disclose whom Jason allegedly stalked.

This marked the third time in twelve months Jason had a run-in with the law. The former spouse of pop superstar Britney was arrested in Nashville in January 2021 on three misdemeanor charges, including driving under the influence, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession or casual exchange of a controlled substance. He was released from jail on the same day after posting a $2,500 bond.

Later in August, he was busted at an airport in Nasville for a security violation after reportedly trying to cut the security line and into an off-limits area. He was charged with misdemeanor and freed on $2,500 bail, criminal records showed.

Following his release, he addressed the arrest on Instagram Live. Calling the arrest "inconvenience," he admitted that he ended "up in handcuffs because of something stupid." Both cases are still open.

Jason first gained attention in 2004 when he married Britney in a Las Vegas wedding. Their marriage was annulled 55 hours later following her parents' interference. The two were childhood friends before the nuptials.

Britney is now engaged to her longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari after he popped the question to her in September 2021. Responding to the engagement, Jason said he believed that it was fake. "If it's real, it's awesome," he said in a clip of the interview. When journalist Jim Moret asked Jason, "You don't think it's real?" he simply stated, "No."
