The 'Big Energy' femcee vehemently denies allegations that she stole song and aesthetic from another female musician, insisting the similarities were just coincidences.

AceShowbiz - Latto landed in hot water. She was called out by fellow female artist named Big Indo after teasing her new song on social media. Big Indo posted both her track titled "Givin' Me" and Latto's fresh music on her Instagram so public could make their own judgment.
"NOT THE BEAT TOO just higher tempo," she expressed her shock on her caption. "I'm sick cause I looked up to LATTO it look like she been lookin up to me tho or her team stealin sauce." She got sarcastic as she added, "I obviously got million dollar ideas."
Big Indo also slammed the "Big Energy" rapper for allegedly ripping off her aesthetic as she posted a scantily-clad picture from her own photoshoot and Latto's new look. She added, "She went from mullato to 'BIG LATTO'. I went from 'Big Indo' to 'BIG INDO'. I been 'big' indo since I started."
She also wrote, "It's the comments [crying emoji] everyone know the real I don't have to say anything anymore. I don't have to call nobody out they name keep it cute sis [love face, peace sign]."
"If they liked my music they could of just dmd me and worked that easy [shrug] I'm not bout to write no pharagraph tho or yell at my phone [peace sign] The people who know KNOW."
She then set the record straight after her posts went viral, "LETS MAKE THIS CLEAR I NEVER DRAGGED @latto777 I said I like HER. It's the simple fact my song was stolen if not her, her team or someone put it in her face don't drag what I said. I want to see all my female rappers win just with they own music."
Latto was quick to respond, dissing Indo as she revealed the number of people who listened to Indo on Spotify. "It's givin… nobody," she laughed before adding, "Y'all really think I'm 1 of the 14 ppl that listened to her before??? Lmao I cannot make thi s**t up."
She was clearly exasperated as she went on, "I'm over here frustrated af cause IVE NEVER HEARD OF OR SEEN SHAWTY EVER IN MY LIFE!!!! DON'T FLATTER YOURSELF!"
She then ranted, "Like I said … my mamma can drop dead right now if I'm lying." She insisted the similarities between the two tracks were just coincidence, "I just so happened to make a song using the regular a** basic **sttern."
She also defended her look, "It has nothing to do w my song lmaooo that was my birthday photoshoot. Ion wanna hear nun else bout this regular a** outfit and regular a** saying! Even though my outfit was custom $3k bra & panties."
Big Info fired back, "I don't promote my Spotify thanks for free promo on it [love] I'm just getting started with learning how to promote my music. We all start somewhere [shrug]."
