The former 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star is called an 'idiot' and 'moron' after boasting about her refusal to wear a mask while on board an airplane.

AceShowbiz - Denise Richards is apparently not a wise traveler. The actress-turned-reality TV star has been put on blast by social media users after she refused to wear a mask on plane and for some reason, she let everyone know about it.
On Sunday, December 19, the 50-year-old took to her Instagram Story to brag about her stubbornness. In the since-expired Story, she posted her maskless selfie which she appeared to be taken while on board "a jet plane."
In the caption, she tried to pre-emptively defend herself as writing, "Anyone that is upset that I [am] not wearing a mask." She, instead, opted to use her "huge winter coat" as a mask, insisting that it's "thicker than any mask."
"I'm hiding under a hoody amd [sic] a huge winter coat," the former star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" added. She claimed, "Please. Thicker than any mask!!!!!!"
This is, of course, not okay. Per CDC guidelines, all passengers on public conveyances (e.g., airplanes, ships*, ferries, trains, subways, buses, taxis, ride-shares) traveling into, within, or out of the United States (including U.S. territories) as well as conveyance operators (e.g., crew, drivers, conductors, and other workers involved in the operation of conveyances), regardless of their vaccination status, are required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth.
Following Denise's own confession and with the power of social media, she soon drew backlash for her refusal to wear a mask on plane. "There seems to be no sign of intelligent life anywhere," one person called out the actress.
Another questioned her decision to share the Story, "We would've had no idea she was flying if she hadn't said so. Hashtag attention-seeking." Some others went as far as calling her "not a thinker," "f**kin moron" and "an idiot."
"Denise Richards' absurd excuse for not wearing a mask on flight besides having horrible taste in husbands and also of being a moron," someone else added, "she has just many people on close contact to covid she should be banned from all public transport &fined."
Denise has not responded to the criticism.
