AceShowbiz - Future has been ridiculed over his recent tweet about Jay-Z. After the "Way 2 Sexy" rapper declared himself "bigger" than the hip-hop mogul in the streets, many on Twitter made fun of him.
The 38-year-old emcee bragged about his accomplishments over the weekend. "I'm the only one can get YE to pull up whenever wherever…tuh," he first wrote, referring to Kanye West's surprise appearance during his set at Rolling Loud California. "Everything I do is legendary or it won't get done..tuh."
"In the streets I'm bigger then jigga. Ima run me a B up easy," Future added in a separate tweet, referring to Jay-Z's billionaire status. He continued, "100M's not the goal anymore."
Many on the blue bird app have since reacted to Future's posts, especially the one in which he flexed on Jay-Z. "U almost 40 wit 8 kids get out the streets n run up some fatherhood skills," one user suggested, before another chimed in, "You asking the wrong dude to be a father."
A third individual asked in disbelief, "Bigger than JAY Z?" Someone else then replied to his tweet by simply writing "the street" alongside a picture of "Sesame Street" characters. A different person added, "You know Hov gonna light your a** up in his next verse."
The backlash continued with one noting, "This MF be too HIGH!" The individual went on to argue, "Hov ain't on the street s**t nomore.. but if you're comparing both in your prime... you couldn't tie Jay-Z's laces!"
Some others, however, defended Future. "This is true, but Jay-Z is a better artist. I'm not even a Jay-Z or Future fan, but objectively speaking Future is indeed bigger in the streets," one person stated, with another explaining, "I never hear anyone in the streets listening to jay z and I'm in New York think he has a point."
