The 'Donda' artist reportedly will not be giving up trying to save his marriage to his estranged wife Kim even though his public plea is ignored by the reality TV star.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West is persistent about getting back together with estranged wife Kim Kardashian. According to a new report, the "Donda" artist will not be giving up just yet even though his public plea is ignored by the reality TV star.

A source close to the 44-year-old rapper tells PEOPLE that family and marriage are "important" to him. According to the insider, the musician is a "family man at heart [whose] love and commitment" to his ex and kids "will never change."

Of Ye, who shares four kids with Kim, the source continues, "He's not giving up without a fight. Kim is the mother of his children and he's not going to just let that go." The informant adds, "No matter if they're husband and wife, they'll always support each other. Her recent filing or any filing for that matter doesn't mean he's going to stop fighting to win her back."

It seemingly won't be easy for Kanye. In recent report, the former "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was allegedly embarrassed by him for begging her to take him back. It was said that she wasn't really flattered by his attempt because he lived with his reported new girlfriend, Vinetria.

"Kim is making a statement by doubling down that she's single," a source claimed. "She thinks it's strange that Kanye keeps saying he wants her back, but all the while he's got the [22-year-old] model at his Malibu house."

Ye and Vinetria sparked dating rumors when they were spotted together in Minneapolis. They were seen sitting court-side next to each other at his Donda Academy's debut basketball game. She also reportedly accompanied him when he recorded an interview in Atlanta. Additionally, the model was photographed in what seemed to be the balcony of the rapper's waterfront mansion in Malibu.

Kim, who is now dating "Saturday Night Live" star Pete Davidson, filed for divorce earlier this year. Last week, the SKIMS founder asked the court to separate issues of child custody and property from her marital status, and also requested that her maiden name be restored.
