Taking to her social media platforms, the former 'Counting On' star urges her followers to 'pray for the victims and for the truth to be revealed' as her cousin's child pornography trial begins.

AceShowbiz - Amy Duggar has weighed in on Josh Duggar's child pornography trial. Taking to her social media platform, the former "Counting On" star stated that she wants her cousin to get the "ultimate sentence" from the judge.

The 35-year-old TV personality was one of the first members of Josh's family to speak publicly about the start of the trial in his child pornography case. Making use of her Instagram Story on Tuesday, November 30, she wrote over a black screen, "Today is a heavy day. This whole week will be. Next week will be too. Until justice is served."

In a following Story, Amy penned, "Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord, I will repay thee." She added, "Please pray for the victims, and for the truth to be revealed. Pray that the judge will give the ultimate sentence." Not stopping there, the former reality TV star also shared similar messages on her Twitter account.

Amy Duggar shared messages on her Instagram Story as Josh Duggar's child pornography trial begins.

Her followers were quick to respond to her words with support. "I can't imagine what your cousins are going through, as it looks like your uncle is doing everything he can to protect Josh and not supporting his daughters. What kind of dad does that? I pray for you and your cousins, I hope that they are supported by other family," one fan replied to her tweet.

"Praying for you and any member of the family willing to have their eyes opened to see the truth," another chimed in. Meanwhile, a third shared, "Love to you all. let's hope the truth will come out and all victims safe."

Although Amy, who has appeared on the Duggar family's reality show "19 Kids and Counting", didn't mention Josh by name in her social media posts, she has spoken out publicly about Josh's arrest and the charges he faces in the trial more than once. "It blows my mind. It's heartbreaking and disgusting and evil. It's so evil. I want nothing to do with it," she blasted Josh, who pleaded no guilty to the accusations, in an interview with "TODAY Parents" in May.

"Who wouldn't worry about that? My heart goes out to all those innocent, sweet victims… It breaks my heart. I really hope justice is served," Amy added. "I will just say that whatever you do in the darkness comes out in the light. If you're going to look at such disgusting and sickening images, justice has to be served. To look at my little guy who is 19 months old... my heart and my brain cannot comprehend that."

Then in September, Amy posted a cryptic message about cutting a toxic family out of her life. "It's okay to cut off toxic family for your own well-being," she wrote at the time, before closing her post, "Amen & Amen. It's not easy, but necessary."

Prior to Josh's court trial, his father, Jim Bob Duggar, has given his testimony against the 33-year-old reality star. On Monday, November 29, the 56-year-old dad stated that his son told him that he touched girls' breasts when he's 14 years old.

"He had told me that he had touched some of the girls when they were sleeping on their breasts … they didn't wake up," said Jim, who clarified that he didn't remember what did Josh, who has been facing two counts of downloading and possessing child pornography, say at the time. But, the Duggar patriarch said that he and his wife Michelle Duggar took action in their home after that and believed Josh had behaved inappropriately.

During the court hearing, Josh's best friend Bobye Holt also testified on the allegations that Josh touched minors in the early 2000s. "[Josh] explained that Jane Doe four was sitting on his lap during Bible time and he touched her inappropriately," Bobye said. "He said it happened that day. On that date, he told us that he touched her vaginal area." She added, "From when he told me … it started at [age] 12 until March 30, 2003."
