The 'Black Like Me' singer is grateful as her baby son is doing 'so much better' after being discharged from hospital following an emergency visit due to 'severe stomach bug.'

AceShowbiz - Grammy nominee Mickey Guyton has a special reason to be grateful over America's Thanksgiving holiday after her baby son was rushed into hospital earlier this week (beg22Nov21).
Little Grayson was taken to the Intensive Care Unit days before mum's appearance at Thursday's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and at one point she feared she might have to miss the big gig, calling it a "pinch me" moment.
"He's doing so much better," Mickey told Today on the parade route. "He's out (of the hospital). He's home with my husband right now. As soon as the parade's done I'm getting on a flight to be back with him for Thanksgiving."
"I'm just thankful for family. I'm thankful for my son. This is my first Thanksgiving as a mom, and that's just changed my life. So I'm really thankful for that, and family and life."
Mickey previously revealed Grayson had been struggling with dehydration from a "severe stomach bug."
She initially struggled to secure a bed for her baby as local hospitals were "maxxed out and understaffed" due to a shortage of nursing staff.
"A pediatric doctor named Dr. Grace, stayed by Grayson's side the entire time we were in the er (emergency room), discovered the problem and help create a plan to heal baby Grayson," she opened up. "Our family, Dr. Nathan Ford also took action and helped Grayson secure a bed at the hospital when all the hospital's were maxed out and understaffed because of nurse shortages (sic)."
"I truly believe Grayson would not be on the road to a full recovery without them.
