AceShowbiz - Jeff Dye has set the record straight on dating rumors surrounding him and Clare Crawley. Despite spending time together with the former lead of "The Bachelorette", the stand-up comedian explained that there's nothing romantic between them.

The 38-year-old addressed the speculations in an interview with Us Weekly. "Since my breakup, I basically just do comedy, write, yoga and watch late-night short films about romance," he said. "I met Clare and she's awesome but if sitting by someone at a Lakers game means I'm dating someone, I guess me and my friend Richard have been in a relationship for years."

The former "Better Late Than Never" star went on to note that Clare was not the only woman he was with at a Los Angeles Lakers game earlier this month. Saying that he was with two other women at the time, he declared that it "was hardly a date" with the 40-year-old hairstylist.

Jeff was first linked romantically to Clare after a source told the outlet that they were "set up" by mutual friends." The source added, "Clare agreed to go on the date because she thought he was handsome... They met for coffee after the Lakers game when he was doing shows in San Diego."

In early November, Jeff shared some pictures of him and Clare in which they appeared to have a great time together at an Alo event. "Dear @alo , thanks for all the free s**t. I love yoga and I love you," he captioned the snaps.

Jeff was previously rumored to be dating Kristin Cavallari as they were spotted spending time together several times in 2020. However, it's reported that their romance ended in March this year because Kristin "never really saw anything long-term happening between them."

As for Clare, she was previously engaged to Dale Moss as he proposed to her in September 2020 while filming season 16 of "The Bachelorette". The pair then broke up in January, but rekindled their romance months later. They called it quits for the second time in September this year.
