AceShowbiz - Lacey Chabert announced that her sister Wendy has passed away. When expressing her heartbreak over the "shocking loss," the Gretchen Wieners depicter in "Mean Girls" said her heart was "shattered into a million pieces."

The 39-year-old shared the sad news via Instagram on Tuesday, November 23. Posting an old picture of her late sibling, she wrote, "My beautiful sister, Wendy. Our hearts are shattered into a million pieces that I don't know how we will ever put back together again now that you're gone."

"We love and adore you more than we can ever say and we will continue to forever and ever and ever. The shocking loss has left us so broken hearted," the actress lamented. "Our lives will never be the same without my dear sister, but we cling to the promises of Jesus that we will be together again in eternity."

Lacey, who has yet to disclose Wendy's cause of death, pleaded with her online devotees to "keep our family, especially her two boys, in your hearts and prayers." She then concluded her post by noting, "Thank you so much."

Lacey's famous friends were quick to send their condolences. One in particular was Candace Cameron Bure who wrote, "Lacy, we are praying for you, your family and Wendy's family. "Couldn't let #nationalsistersday pass without saying how much I love my two sisters. They are the best big sisters ever and I thank God for them every day," she wrote alongside a childhood photo of the trio. "Love you Wendy and Crissy."
