Kanye West Rants About Redeeming Himself in Relationship Amid Kim Kardashian's New Romance

The 'Hurricane' emcee says he needs 'to be back home' and blasts the Kardashians' reality shows on E! and Hulu when making an appearance at Skid Row in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West seemingly still can't accept the fact that his marriage to Kim Kardashian is over now. Months after his estranged wife filed for divorce from him and amid her blossoming romance with Pete Davidson, the rapper has publicly expressed his desire to get back together with the mother of his children.

The Atlanta emcee ranted about redeeming himself in relationship when he visited Skid Row in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, November 24, according to Page Six. In his speech, he said, "I'm trying to express this in the most sane way, the most calm way possible, but I need to be back home."

The 44-year-old admitted he "made mistakes," but insinuated that it's God's will for him to be back together with his estranged wife. "The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships," he added. "We've made mistakes. I've made mistakes. I've publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason - I didn't know I was going to be in front of this mic - but I'm here to change the narrative."

"I have to be next to my children as much as possible. So, when I'm out the house, I've got a house right next to the house. I'm doing everything to be right next to the situation," he continued.

Ye went on blasting the Kardashians' reality shows on E! and Hulu, suggesting that they played a part in his split from Kim. "I'm not letting E! write the narrative of my family. I'm not letting Hulu write the narrative of my family … I am the priest of my home," so he claimed.

He also spoke about Kimye's huge influence on the public. "If the enemy can separate Kimye, there's going to be millions of families that feel like that separation is ok,' he said," so he stated, " 'but when God brings Kimye together, there's going to be millions of families that are going to be influenced to see that they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma the devil has used to capitalize to keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store."

Kanye was on Skid Row for a meeting with the CEO and president of LA Mission, a nonprofit group that helps fight homelessness in Los Angeles. He said he was there to "share ideas" with the CEO.

Kanye's statements come on the heels of Kim and Pete's PDA on their latest outings, seemingly confirming that they are officially an item. Most recently, the comedian sported what appeared to be a hickey on the left side of his neck during a giggly date night with the reality TV star in Santa Monica, California.
