The 'Bad Habits' hitmaker is keen to reprise his role in the second movie fronted by Gal Gadot, The Rock, and Ryan Reynolds following his surprise appearance in the first film.

AceShowbiz - Ed Sheeran wants to follow up his special appearance in hit Netflix movie "Red Notice" with a cameo in the sequel too.

The "Bad Habits" hitmaker pops up in the comedy adventure film starring Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson, and Ryan Reynolds, which broke streaming records by becoming the most-watched film on the platform on its release date earlier this month (12Nov21) - and he's hoping director Rawson Marshall Thurber will want him back for the second instalment.

Speaking at Hits Live in Liverpool, England, he explained he's hoping to emulate boxer Mike Tyson, who had a funny small role in the first "The Hangover" film and proved so popular with fans he returned in "The Hangover Part II".

"Mine was the last scene that they shot (in Red Notice) and because of COVID, it was a two-year shoot," he said.

"So, by the end of it, all the crew were just like thank God this is over. Because it was just a long process, I'm hoping that it's going to turn into like a Mike Tyson in The Hangover thing."

"Because they're going to do a sequel, so I'm hoping that at some point I get brought back to be even worse."

Ed plays himself as a wedding singer at a lavish ceremony, which gets raided by the authorities, in "Red Notice".

When cops start arresting everyone, including the "Shivers" singer, he quips, "Don't you know who I am? I was in Game of Thrones, I'm Ed Sheeran, b**ch."
