The Duchess of Sussex recalls a funny story from her childhood when she was poked fun at by her friends after failing to pull off 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' look.

AceShowbiz - Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex had a hair disaster when she was a kid while trying to look like Andie MacDowell's character from "Four Weddings and a Funeral".

The former actress was obsessed with the romantic comedy and begged her mum to let her get her hair styled just like the former model's - but she only had one day with the perfect look, and then she started to resemble a character from "The Simpsons".

"I was 10 or 11... and I was obsessed with Andie MacDowell from Four Weddings and A Funeral and all I wanted was that perfect little curly haircut," Meghan told "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". "On that first day, I was like, 'This is amazing! I look like Andie MacDowell in Four Weddings and A Funeral.' "

"And then, it was as though everyone forgot to tell me, 'You have ethnic hair! You are not going to look like Andie MacDowell...' "

"I'd go to school and they said I looked like Krusty the Clown from The Simpsons. It was a real bummer."

During the sit-down with Ellen DeGeneres, Meghan Markle also reminisced her early acting career.

Ellen reminded her she used to audition on the lot where the show was shot, prompting Meghan to recall, "I would park at Gate 3, and then I would scoot on over. And what was so nice was the security guards would always say, 'Break a leg, we hope you get it!' Except the drive in today was very different."

The "Suits" also remembered she used to drive to auditions in a "very old Ford Explorer Sport". She added, "At a certain point, the keys stopped working on the driver's side. So you couldn't get yourself in through the door. So after auditions, I would park at the back of the parking lot and I would open the trunk and climb in, pull it shut behind me and crawl over all my seats to get out. And that's how I would come to and fro."

"(If anyone saw me) I would go like, 'Oh I'm just looking for my resume and my highlighters for my script. Maybe it's back there!' "
