According to her husband, Jan Cilliers, the Los Angeles-based model was dropped outside Southern California Hospital in Culver City by three masked men following a night out with her friends.

AceShowbiz - Christy Giles has passed away. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the model, who was only 24 years old, died of a suspected drug overdose. Her body was found dumped outside a Los Angeles hospital nearly a week ago.

The Medical Examiner-Coroner previously stated that the Los Angeles native's case has been deferred pending additional investigation. A spokesperson said that her "cause and manner are deferred as is done for many of our cases that are pending additional information and / or testing." In her autopsy, her place of death is listed as the hospital.

The Los Angeles native was found lifeless on Saturday, November 13 following a night outing with friends. Her husband, Jan Cilliers, claimed that there's video of the model being dropped outside Southern California Hospital in Culver City by three masked men in a vehicle without license plates.

Christy's friend, Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, was allegedly dumped at another hospital two hours later, where she remains in critical condition fighting for her life. Jan, who was away at the time of his wife's death, informed ABC7 that based on his wife's messages stored in the iCloud, she texted Hilda that they should leave their location around 5:30 A.M., and that he didn't think she checked or answered any messages afterward.

Following her tragic death, her husband paid loving tributes to her on his Instagram account. "I can't believe you're gone. Taken from us. From me. How can this world be so cruel. How can people be so evil," he wrote alongside a compilation video that "captures her energy."

"You were the light of my sky. Guiding stars of my journey. The twinkle in my eye. The tongue in my ear," Jan continued. He added, "The moments we shared will forever be burned into my mind. But that's not enough. I want more memories with you. I would do anything to make more memories with you," before concluding his post, "My heart is shattered."

A GoFundMe campaign was created to raise money "for private investigators, funeral and memorial costs." The note on the page stated that "these funds are going towards the investigations of both Christy and Hilda's cases."
