AceShowbiz - Big Ed Brown is engaged to Liz Woods. When sharing the exciting news, the "90 Day Fiance" star revealed that he popped the question to his girlfriend just one day after they rekindled their romance.
The 56-year-old, who stars on "90 Day: The Single Life" with his new fiancee, confirmed their engagement to PEOPLE on Wednesday, November 10. He then shared, "About a month before we got back together, I realized that I really didn't appreciate who she was and I don't want to love anybody else... And never in a million years did I think that I would ever be together with Liz - it's just surreal."
"I couldn't be happier. I know in my heart that she's my forever, and that's all I need to know," the TV personality further gushed. "I don't want to be with anybody else, I don't want to think about anybody else."
During the interview, Big Ed also divulged that he went to therapy to improve himself after his split from Liz. "I wasn't a good person, I wasn't a good boyfriend," he acknowledged. "I didn't treat Liz like she deserved to be treated. I wasn't a good listener. That was all about me - I was so consumed with [myself]."
As for Liz, she admitted that she had a difficult time amid their breakup. "I struggled a lot when we broke up - I went through a really bad depression stage," she disclosed.
Luckily, Liz and Big Ed reunited after she reached out to him in the wake of his dog Teddy's death. After contacting each other via email, Big Ed invited Liz to a dinner in which he asked one important question. "The question was, 'Am I your forever?' And she said yes," he recalled. "And she ended up leaving for work and I did a beeline to the jewelry store and bought the biggest diamond I could find."
Liz then chimed in, "Back together on Saturday, engaged on Sunday!" As for Big Ed, he teased that fans will get to see how he proposed to Liz in season 2 of "90 Day: The Single Life". He said, "You're going to have to tune in to see what happened, but it turned out to be a beautiful moment."
Before being an item with Liz, Big Ed was dating Rosemarie Vega, who also appeared on "90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days". They parted ways after arguing about their contrasting views on having children.
