Despite their tense relationship on screen, the 'Pitch Perfect' actress has a great relationship with her 'Dickinson' mom in real life and turns to her for relationship advice.

AceShowbiz - Hailee Steinfeld always turns to "Dickinson" co-star Jane Krakowski when she needs relationship advice.
The "Pitch Perfect" actress stars as reclusive poet Dickinson in the U.S. TV series, with Jane playing her mum Emily Norcross. While they have a somewhat fractious relationship on screen, things were vastly different when the cameras weren't rolling.
Praising her "wonderfully supportive" co-star, Hailee grinned, "She gives some great relationship advice, let me tell you."
"I've loved being able to spend time with her in between takes and be able to have real conversations," she said. "I feel so lucky to be walking away from this experience with real friendships. And that's not every time that you get to feel that way."
The feeling is mutual, as Jane added to Entertainment Tonight, "First of all, I don't think the show could've found a better person to be our Emily Dickinson. I will miss her terribly. My favourite scenes were always the ones I got to film with her, and I hope she remembers me when she becomes a big Marvel star."
Hailee, who can next be seen starring as Kate Bishop opposite Jeremy Renner in Disney+ spinoff series "Hawkeye", also gave some hints about her character in the much-anticipated show.
"She's such an interesting and fun character. And it's been really so exciting bringing her to life," she said. "She is a New York City girl who has looked at Hawkeye and idolized this person her whole life. And she finds herself in a very fun, crazy, possibly life-threatening situation, where she is face-to-face with her hero. And they embark on what ends up being a very wild journey right around Christmas time."
