The said old tweet, which was sent back in February 2020, saw the model defending her then-boyfriend Zayn after Jake and his brother Logan Paul claimed that the singer was rude to them. "Lol cause he doesn't care to hang w you and your embarrassing crew of YouTube groupies ..?" the mom of one took a jab at Jake at the time. "Home alone with his best friends like a respectful king cause he has me, sweetie. Unbothered by your irrelevant ugly a**. Go to bed ..."

Now, as Zayn was accused of assaulting Gigi's mom Yolanda Hadid, Jake clapped back at Gigi as a response to the tweet. "Your 'rEsPeCtFuL KiNg' punched your mom in the face," so he tweeted. Gigi has yet to reply to Jake's new tweet.

Gigi and Zayn, who share a daughter named Khai, split after the former One Direction singer allegedly "struck" Yolanda. Of the allegations, the "Pillowtalk" singer told TMZ, "I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid. For the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details." In legal docs, it was stated that the altercation took place at Zayn and Gigi's home in Pennsylvania on September 29. He allegedly called Yolanda a "f**king Dutch s**t" and ordered her to "stay away from (my) f**king daughter." He also "shoved (Yolanda) into a dresser causing mental anguish and physical pain."
