The 'What We Do' rapper gives fans a look at the heartfelt letter just days after he announced that his 21-year-old daughter Harmony lost her battle with cancer.

AceShowbiz - Joe Biden was among those who sent condolences to Freeway following his daughter's death. Having received a heartfelt letter from POTUS after Harmony lost her battle with cancer, the "What We Do" rapper took to social media to thank the president.

The emcee, real name Leslie Edward Pridgen, shared the letter on Instagram on Tuesday, October 25. "I was heartbroken to hear about the loss of your daughter, Harmony. As we both know, and as I told you when I saw you in Philadelphia last year, there are no words that can ease the pain of losing a child-a part of your soul. Jill and I are standing with you and your family during this difficult time," so read the message.

"We both know how hard loss is. It leaves a hole in your heart that never fully heals. But as someone shared with me long ago, it's important to find purpose as you move forward," it continued. "I hope you are able to continue turning your pain into purpose. I know you know this, but Harmony and Jihad will always be with you."

Before concluding his message, Biden stated, "You've heard me say this before, and I truly mean it-- I promise that the day will come when the memory of Harmony brings a smile to your lips before it brings a tear to your eye." He added, "My prayer for you and your family is that this day comes sooner rather than later."

Feeling touched by the letter, Freeway expressed his gratitude in the caption of the post. "Thank you Mr. President @joebiden," he simply wrote alongside praying hands and a red heart emojis.

Freeway announced the death of his daughter Harmony on Sunday, October 24. Posting a clip of the 21-year-old girl dancing cheerfully to Michael Jackson's "Shake Your Body", the grieving father noted, "Allah Really blessed me putting her in my life. I love her so much and this hurts so bad this video was February of this year on her 21st birthday."

"Even though she was fighting cancer she was always happy and always smiling and she always brightened up my day," the rapper added. "The only thing that's giving me comfort is I know 100% that she believes in Allah and she was a good person. I truly believe she has everything it takes to enter into heaven. Please keep her in your prayers & please ask God to show her comfort and mercy."

This was not the first time Freeway lost his child. In October 2020, his son Jihad died of complications of an accidental drug overdose. He was just 20 years old at the time of his death.
