AceShowbiz - Kevin Hunter has broken his silence on rumors that he is ready to walk down the aisle again, more than two years after his split from Wendy Williams. Denying that he has gotten engaged to his alleged ex-side chick Sharina Hudson, the former TV executive blasted the press for spreading the false narrative.
Kevin took to Instagram Story on Wednesday, October 27 to share his fiery response to the matter. "F**king dumb a** outlets and FALSE NARRATIVES really SAD..," he wrote, without mentioning what news he was referring to. "EVEN WORSE WHEN URBAN OUTLETS FOLLOWING LEAD!! SmFH!"
While Kevin didn't mention the engagement rumors, his expletive-filled statement was released just a day after rumors emerged that he got engaged to Sharina, who reportedly gave birth to his child while he was still married to Wendy. A source told The Sun that he recently proposed to his baby mama amid his ex-wife's health crisis.
The informant claimed that Wendy's ex-husband spent $80,000 on the diamond rock for his baby mama. The ring was allegedly purchased back in 2020, months before Wendy started experiencing health issues.
Wendy filed for divorce from Kevin in April 2019 after almost twenty years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. They share a son, Kevin Samuel, who was born on August 18, 2000 after the TV host suffered multiple miscarriages.
In the divorce filing, Wendy blamed Kevin's alleged affair with Sharina for the end of their marriage. She cited Kevin's love child as being too much for her to handle or work through with him.
"I've known about her almost since the beginning. I've known that Kevin is a serial cheat. The first time I found out was while I was pregnant with our son on bedrest," Wendy dished after leaving Kevin. "This girl wasn't the only one. She just happens to be the one who kept his baby," she spilled.
As for Wendy, she is currently taking a break from her eponymous daytime talk show as she continues to focus on her health. October 13, the show announced that the new season would premiere with guest hosts as the 57-year-old author was "experiencing serious complications as a direct result of Graves' Disease."
