Before leaving the stage after feeling unimpressed by the audience's energy, the 'Laugh Now Cry Later' rapper says that 'this s**t sound so bogus' and he doesn't 'even feel this s**t for real.'

AceShowbiz - Rapper Lil Durk is not afraid to leave a situation when he's not feeling it. The "Laugh Now Cry Later" hitmaker decided to cut his performance short during Howard University Homecoming because of the underwhelming crowd.

On Sunday, October 24, the 29-year-old rapper made a pitstop in Washington D.C. to perform at Howard University. However, after just a couple of songs, the Chicago-born rapper was clearly unimpressed by the audience's energy and walked out of stage though he was supposed to do more songs.

"Aye look, we was supposed to do more songs but this s**t sound so bogus I don't even feel this s**t for real," Durk said before leaving the stage. He added, "But I appreciate y'all for f**king with us one time in this motherf**ker, man."

Durk, whose real name is Durk Derrick Banks, then walked off backstage with the audience left shocked. After the "Hellcats & Trackhawks" rapper left the stage, his DJ attempted to pull the pieces together for the rest of the show.

After a video circulated online showing Durk leaving the stage before finishing his performance, many Twitter users shared their thoughts. "IF ITS NOT THE VIBE ITS NOT THE VIBE!" a fan defended him, while another added, "He's not wrong. They do that to all the celebrities that perform there."

While many defended Durk, there were also some who criticized him. "Come late for all that money and leave earlier...smh," wrote a social media critic. In the meantime, another person noted, "Maybe he should make better music???"

"Lmfao this petty, you suppose to still give yo best performance no matter how the crowd respond," a critic added. "Not every show gone be yo greatest one, but you still need to rock out even on them bad days."

His homecoming performance came after he wrapped up his "Back Outside Tour" with Lil Baby. The artists made $15 million during their tour. In addition to Durk and Baby, Coi Leray, Rylo Rodriguez and Bankroll Freddie performed on selected dates.
