The trailer of the upcoming biopic features the Oscar-winning actress' brief appearance as the legendary actress reenacting a famous scene where she gasps in shock after squashing grapes.

AceShowbiz - Amazon Prime has treated fans with the first trailer for "Being the Ricardos" ahead of its release in December. Unveiled on Tuesday, October 19, the trailer of the upcoming Lucille Ball biopic features Nicole Kidman's brief appearance as the legendary actress.

Opening the trailer is Nicole narrating as Lucille. "I am the biggest asset in the portfolio of the Columbia Broadcasting System," Lucille says in voiceover. "The biggest asset in the portfolio of Philip Morris Tobacco, Westinghouse."

"I get paid a fortune to do exactly what I love doing. I work side-by-side with my husband who is genuinely impressed by me. And all I have to do to keep it, is kill for 36 weeks in a row. And then do it again next year," she continues.

Referencing to Lucille and her husband and co-star Desi Arnaz's successful sitcom "I Love Lucy", Lucille adds, "You know, I did this show so Desi and I could be together. I had no idea it was going to be a hit." Later, Nicole can be seen transforming as the comedic star and reenacted the famous scene where she gasped in shock after squashing grapes with her feet.

"Being the Ricardos" follows Lucille and Desi during a whirlwind week of filming "I Love Lucy". The story will unfold during a Monday table read until the filming for a Friday TV shoot in front of a live audience.

Additionally, it will show some snippets of life off-set for the famous couple. "The film takes audiences into the writers' room, onto the soundstage and behind closed doors with Ball and Arnaz during one critical production week of their groundbreaking sitcom," read the official synopsis of the biopic.

Nicole's portrayal of Lucille was praised by the couple's daughter Lucie Arnaz. "Nicole did a spectacular job," Lucie told The Palm Springs Life magazine in August. "The two days that I watched, though, were both little flashbacks, so she was playing Lucy in the late '30s and mid-'40s. She wasn't Lucy of Lucy Ricardo fame yet, so it was a trifle different. And I know she meant it to be, so it could feel different. But boy, what she did was astounding. She's got such poise and class."

"Being the Ricardos" is set to hit theaters on December 10 and debut on Prime Video on December 21.
