AceShowbiz - Darren Criss and wife Mia are going to be first-time parents. The actor, who is best known for his portrayal of Blaine Anderson on "Glee", has revealed that he and his wife are expecting their first child together.

The 34-year-old star made use of his Instagram page to announce his wife's pregnancy on Friday, October 15. Along with a photo of the pair holding a guitar and a bass, he also shared videos of them listening to their unborn baby's heartbeat in the recording studio.

At the end of one of the clips, Mia swept aside her unbuttoned pajama top to show her baby bump before the couple broke into laughter. In another slide, he featured a sonogram that said "Baby Von Criss. Dropping Spring 2022."

Gushing that the baby would be their "ultimate collab" to date, Darren added in the caption, "We've been making music for years. … But this time we made a BEAT. The ultimate collab droppin Spring 2022."

The wedding was attended by their family and friends, including Lea Michele, Harry Shum Jr. and Chord Overstreet.

Last year, the "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" star reflected on his wedding day after celebrating their one-year anniversary. "It's been a year since the wedding," he told PEOPLE. "That was one of the most incredible events of my entire life. The most magical experience. Say what you will about the construct of marriage and tradition: weddings are amazing." He went on gushing, "It was a magical and crazy thing. If I could, I'd get married every year for the rest of my life."
