Ray Luzier has been diagnosed with Covid, making him the third member to contract the virus after vocalist Jonathan Davis and guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer.

AceShowbiz - Korn have been hit with another COVID crisis - drummer Ray Luzier will miss the band's next three shows after testing positive for the virus.

Jonathan Davis and his bandmates have recruited Fever 333's Aric Improta to step in for Ray at concerts in Las Vegas and California.

"We are anticipating a quick recovery for Ray and he should be back to play the Los Angeles shows with us," a statement from the band reads. "Aric Improta from FEVER 333 will be filling in, so we won't miss a beat."

Luzier becomes the third member of Korn to sit out shows on the band's current tour after being diagnosed with COVID-19 - last month (Sep21), guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer was temporarily replaced by J.R. Bareis after testing positive and, in early August (21), Davis contracted the virus and forced the postponement of six shows and the cancellation of two.

After Davis and Munky's diagnoses, fans urged the band to cancel the remainder of the tour and enter isolation to make sure no one else fell sick, but the group decided to go on with their jaunt. "The tour is going on as scheduled despite these circumstances, and we are anticipating a speedy recovery," they said.

Similarly, Jonathan Davis defiantly told his fans, "I'm f**king feeling very weak but I f**king refuse to f**king cancel!!! (sic)"

When the rocker first returned to the stage, he was forced to take breaks in between songs to suck oxygen.
