The former One Direction member and the Texas native previously were said that they 'rekindled their relationship' in mid-July after calling off their engagement earlier this year.

AceShowbiz - Liam Payne and Maya Henry further confirmed reports that they are getting back together. On Saturday, October 9, the two graced the red carpet for the world premiere of "Ron's Gone Wrong" at the BFI London Film Festival.

The public appearance marked the first time for the former One Direction member and the model's red carpet return as a couple. At the star-studdent event, the lovebirds didn't try to be lowkey as they packed on the PDA and looked in love with each other. The singer passionately kissed the Texas native on the red carpet as they couldn't keep their hands off each other.

For the occasion, Liam looked sharp in a gray suit. Meanwhile, Maya opted for a figure-hugging black dress that featured a snake-print collar. She completed her look with two large pearl-embellished buttons and dramatic long sleeves. The new public outing arrived after the pair attended a London Fashion Week party in September.

Back in August, Liam and Maya were reported to be giving their romance another try after announcing their decision to call off their engagement. At that time, a source revealed to E! News that the two "rekindled their relationship" in mid-July. "They took time apart due to their busy schedules and having distance between them. They needed the break because they weren't communicating well," the source added.

It was also said that the 27-year-old singer realized that he didn't want to give up on the 21-year-old model just yet. When Maya returned to the U.K. for work, the informant claimed that they "reconnected" leading to them getting back on track.

Despite the reunion, the insider shared that they were not in rush to go down the aisle. "They are living together in England but aren't putting pressure on the wedding or engagement yet," said the informant. Instead, the couple allegedly was "focused on being back together and spending time together right now."

Liam addressed their split during in an episode of "The Diary of a CEO" podcast. In the episode, the "Strip That Down" hitmaker blamed himself for the split. He opened up, "I feel like more than anything at this point, I'm more disappointed in myself that I keep on hurting people. That annoys me. I've just not been very good at relationships."

"And I know what my pattern of things is with relationships, I feel at this point. I'm just not very good at them so I just need to work on myself before I put myself on to somebody else," "The X-Factor" alum elaborated further. "And I feel like that's where I got to in my last relationship."
