AceShowbiz - Britney Spears' mother and sister appeared to have reacted to the singer's court win in her conservatorship battle. Shortly after the "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker was granted the right to hire her own private lawyer for her case, Lynne Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears shared cryptic posts on social media.
On Wednesday, July 14, the 66-year-old took to Instagram to share a bible verse from the book of John. The message read, "The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it."
Jamie Lynn, meanwhile, turned to her Instagram Story to post a note that read, "Once you choose hope, anything's possible." Hours later, she penned in another post, "Dear Lord, Can we end this bull s**t once and for all. Amen."
Britney herself has celebrated her small victory via Instagram. Sharing a video of her riding a horse and doing cartwheels, she raved, "Coming along, folks ... coming along !!!!! New with real representation today ... I feel GRATITUDE and BLESSED !!!!"
The ex-wife of Kevin Federline went on to thank her devotees for their outpouring support. "Thank you to my fans who are supporting me ... You have no idea what it means to me be supported by such awesome fans !!!! God bless you all !!!!!" she gushed. "Pssss this is me celebrating by horseback riding and doing cartwheels today !!!! #FreeBritney."
During the virtual hearing, Florida Representative Matt Gaetz joined the "Free Britney" rally outside a Los Angeles courthouse. Voicing his support for the "Toxic" hitmaker, he blasted her father by shouting, "There's a lot that still divides us but one thing we call all agree on is that Jamie Spears is a d**k."
"He should not be making any more decisions regarding his daughter, she is nearly 40 years old she should make her own decisions. This case should open our eyes to the broader abuse that occurs in this system to the millions of Americans impacted," he further stressed. "Britney has a chance because we all love her and we care about her. The whole world knows what Britney Spears wants, and it is the freedom and the liberty that should be offered to every single American. Free Britney!"
