Ryan Reynolds reprises his role as Merc with a Mouth and is joined by Taika Waititi as Marvel Cinematic Universe's Korg to give their take on their upcoming film.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds returns as Deadpool in a reaction video of "Free Guy". While fans have been waiting for the day the character will officially become a part of Marvel Cinematic Universe following Disney's acquisition, the unofficial crossover does happen in this video.

In the said video, the Canadian actor reprises his role as Merc with a Mouth to give his take on his upcoming sci-fi action comedy film. He is joined by Taika Waititi, who also stars in the 20th Century Studios movie, as Korg, his character in the "Thor" film series.

In a similar fashion to the "Deadpool" movies, the video sees the anti-hero breaking the fourth wall and taking a jab at the delayed release of "Free Guy". He even cracks a joke that "Free Guy" is just something leftover from a "fire sale" after Disney bought 20th Century Studios from Fox.

At the end of the video, Deadpool asks Korg for any tips on joining the MCU. "Have a dream, chase it, lose that dream, just sabotage all sorts of happiness in pursuit of that dream, climb up to the peaks of that mountain and when you get to the top, land at the bottom and realize you’re never going to achieve that dream, and at that point check your emails," Korg says. "Maybe you'll get something from your agents saying Marvel wants to talk."

Tweeting the video, Reynolds wrote along with it, "If you include Deadpool's cocaine rider, this is the most expensive reaction video ever made." He also poked fun at Deadpool's long-awaited appearance in MCU. "DP is officially in the MCU!" he wrote on Instagram. "He's starting with reaction videos, then some social influencer work, onto Parks appearances all leading up to some after-credit work by 2030."

Waititi also posted the video on his own Twitter page, joking, "This is the third FIRST TIME I've ever worked with Ryan."

"Free Guy" follows Guy (Reynolds), a non-player character (NPC) working as a bank teller. Thanks to a program developed by programmers Milly (Jodie Comer) and Keys (Joe Keery) inserted into Free City by the publisher Antoine (Waititi), Guy becomes aware of his world being a video game, and takes steps to make himself the hero, creating a race against time to save the game before the developers can shut it down.

It features cameo appearances by such A-listers as Hugh Jackman, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Tina Fey and John Krasinski. Directed by Shawn Levy, it heads into U.S. theaters on August 13.
