The former frontman of Kasabian has exchanged wedding vows with Vikki Ager, a year after he was arrested and convicted of attacking her in a drunken rage.

AceShowbiz - Former Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan has married his partner Vikki Ager, a year after he plead guilty to attacking her in a booze-fuelled assault.

Pictures obtained by Daily Mail Online show the happy couple and their wedding party posing for photos after tying the knot at Harborough Registry Office in Leicester on Tuesday (13Jul21).

Meighan was convicted of assaulting Vikki, in July (20) after pleading guilty at Leicester Magistrates' Court. He received 200 hours of unpaid work as well as a 18-month community order after a judge heard his "girlfriend wanted him back."

In a statement given to the Mail, he said, "We are pleased to share the news that on Tuesday the 13th July 2021, Tom Meighan and Vikki Ager were married at Market Harborough Registry Office, Leicester."

"It was an intimate affair, in accordance with the latest Covid-19 guidelines, with the couple becoming husband and wife surrounded by their children, family and a few close friends."

"Tom has worked so hard on himself, his health, family unit and his relationship with Vicki over the past year. They are very much in love and looking forward to sharing the rest of their lives together."

Opening up on the incident for the first time, Tom told Cornwall Live last December, "We had too much to drink. I regret everything that happened that night - what I can remember of it. I don't condone it - it's horrific. I love my partner to pieces... I was fully responsible for what happened but we love each other and we're getting over it."

Kasabian kicked Meighan out of the band as the truth of the fight came out and he accepted it must have been "heartbreaking" for his former bandmates.
