The former 'One Tree Hill' star, who has filed for divorce from husband Mike Caussin, insists that she can use the term because she is indeed a mother and she's currently single.

AceShowbiz - Jana Kramer is not here for any negative comments from trolls. Having found herself landing in hot water for using the "single mom" term amid her divorce from husband Mike Caussin, the "One Tree Hill" alum set aside time to fire back at the "mean" critics.
Making use of Instagram, the 37-year-old country star shared a picture of herself. Alongside the snap, she first penned, "I read a pretty nasty site that people were hating on me because I said I was a single mom so apparently I'm not allowed to say that. But I am single. I am a mom."
"But to further drive my point home, I looked up the definition and it's a parent who has the kids more than 50% So to that website of mean trolls you don't know me, so don't be mean," she went on arguing. "Come over for a glass of wine and then judge me all you want after u get to know me and my single momness;)."
"Okay rant over this isn't relaxing. Choose kindness. Choose love," the mother of two then acknowledged. "Side bar… to all my nice friends let's do a @onebrickwine event and drink wine together later this year???"
The post came after Jana filed for divorce from Mike in April. In early June, the singer admitted to having been in an "entanglement" with "The Bachelorette" alum Graham Bunn. Later that month, she unveiled that she has sold her second wedding ring from her now-estranged husband.
"I have redone pretty much my entire house... I sold my ring, and that money from the ring paid for the furniture and the new additions to the house," she spilled in her "Whine Down" podcast. "I needed to create a new space that felt like me and felt like mine. So now, I have someone over right now painting the bar room. I'm going to make it this really cool, girlie wine bar. So that's helped me a lot."
